SIA expands its IBM software and server business with the acquisition of CriticalControl Solution Corp.’s
Ontario operations
MONTREAL, September 12, 2005 -- SIA Service Information Access Inc. (SIA), an IBM Premier Business Partner, announced today that it has acquired the Ontario branch operations of CriticalControl Solutions
Corp., a publicly traded technology company based in Calgary, AB.
With this acquisition, SIA will take over all of CriticalControl’s Ontario accounts and employees, who will work out of SIA’s Toronto and
Burlington office locations.
SIA and CriticalControl will also enter into a strategic alliance in order to provide expanded services to CriticalControl’s customers across Canada. Through alliances in western Canada and the Atlantic provinces, SIA is now the number one solution provider in Canada for IBM’s industry-leading content management portfolio.
