  • SIA Business Intelligence Solution - data warehousing and online analytical processing solutions based on IBM DB2 Warehouse Manager and DB2 OLAP software. An SIA Business Intelligence solution can provide improved decision-making capabilities through enhanced budgeting and financial analysis, sales analysis and marketing/click-stream analysis.

Customers often need assistance to effectively identify, evaluate and test these solutions before making the substantial investment required to build and deploy them on an enterprise-wide scale. SIA’s Executive Solution Assessment methodology helps customers get started quickly by focusing on very specific, value-based solutions in order to reduce the initial investment, minimize risks and accelerate benefits, paving the way for eventual extension throughout the enterprise.

The Executive Solution Assessment begins with a 3-4 day Walkthrough to identify and define specific solution opportunities that merit further analysis.  Next, a 1-2 week high-level Business Case is developed in order to evaluate a specific technology application.  Finally, 1-2 weeks are spent building a Prototype in order to demonstrate the solution.  This “proof-of-technology” allows SIA and the customer to test the technical feasibility of the targeted solution in order to uncover any risks or uncertainties that could prevent the customer from achieving the solution’s anticipated benefits.  Click here for more information about SIA’s Executive Solution Assessment service offering.
